Tabu
"Tabu" (derived from the Tongan word "tapu") means "holy" or "untouchable", referring to something so treasured that it is considered taboo to touch or even speak of it.

R.E.M. sings about an experience we've all encountered. Being human involves facing suffering, and we cannot control when a crisis will come our way. However, there is something we can do: ensure we are not walking alone on a rough journey.

This concept reminds me of those tender moments in therapy sessions that are so precious that people often keep them to themselves, treating them as private and untouchable.
In many cultures and societies, this idea also reflects the way mental health is perceived. Mental health continues to be stigmatized – it carries that "icky" feeling that prevents us from doing what’s necessary to take care of ourselves.
On one hand, psychology is fascinating, but on the other, people hesitate to engage with it.
This is why I chose the name "Tabu".
